Minimum Belt Grade required for Cadets 3.kyu, Juniors, Seniors, Veterans 2.kyu

Judo Nordic Championships for Cadets (Boys and Girls U18 born in 1997-1999)

Saturday 24 of May 2014 at 10.00-18.00

Judo Nordic Championships for Veterans (M1-M8 and F1-F8 series can be combine)

Saturday 24 of May 2014 at 10.00-18.00 (start after Cadets)

Judo Nordic Championships for Juniors (Boys and Girls U21 born in 1994-96)

Sunday 25 of May 2014 at 10.00-18.00

Judo Nordic Championships for Seniors (Men and Women born in 1993 or earlier)

Sunday 25 of May 2014 at 10:00 - 18:00 (start after Juniors)

U 18 CADETS

Boys -50, -55, -60, -66, -73, -81, -90 and +90 kg

Girls -40, -44, -48, 52, -57, -63, -70 and +70 kg

U21 JUNIORS

Boys -55, -60, -66, -73, -81, -90, -100 and +100 kg

Girls -44, -48, -52, -57, -63, -70, -78 and +78 kg

SENIORS

Men -60, -66, -73, -81, -90, -100 and +100 kg

Women -48, -52, -57, -63, -70, -78 and +78 kg

VETERANS

M1-M8 - categories will be made before competition

F1-F8 - categories will be made before competition

Weightin at the competition hall in Orimattila

Weight categories change is possible before 16.5.2014 - organizer keep right to do changes

Weigh-in On Saturday at Competition Hall Orimattila

U18 and Veterans: Un-official weigh-in 07:00 - 07:30 and Official weigh-in 07.30-09:00

U21 and Seniors: Un-official weigh-in 18:00 - 18:30 and Official weigh-in 18.30-20:00

Sunday: U21 and Seniors random weight checks with the same rules as the official weigh-in is organized before the first fights 09:30 - 09:45. The weight of the athlete cannot be more than 5% higher (without Judogi) than the official maximum weight limit of the category.

Entry:

The official entries should be done only through the national judo federations in Denmark, Faeroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway, Sweden. The entry form with names, year of birth, belt grade and weight categories national judo federations must send by email before 14 of April 2014 to toimisto@judoliitto.fi

Competition rules: According to IJF and EJU rules. Old judogi rules valid

Every competitor must have an international insurance for injures. No insurance is provided by the organizers. 

Match Duration: Men 5 minutes and for Womens, Cadets and Juniors 4 minutes. Veterans 3 minutes.

Match System: According to IJF and EJU rules

Blue and White judogis required (not required in Veterans)

IJF backnumber recommend

 

National coaches: Every country must register coaches (terojudo@gmail.com)

Entry fee: 70 euros for all competitors in all categories. (include 50 th year gift) Payment before 24.4.2014                                                      Extra categories + 50 euros
